Was I Wrong? – AMD Ryzen 9700X Re-Review!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Experience Lara Croft’s defining moment as she becomes the Tomb Raider. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will ultimately be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.

Available now on Steam.

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is a very CPU intensive game but even then, enabling PBO on the 9700X doesn’t do it much justice, as while we do see an increase, it’s only by 2% so nothing that would make a major difference. This does increase the lead over the 7700X however to 5% and enabling PBO on the Zen 4 based processor actually sees performance drop, but again, we’re talking margin of error.
