Cyberpunk 2077 for Nintendo Switch 2 Shows Off in a Nearly 40-Minute Video
A nearly 40-minute video has been uploaded on YouTube, giving fans a look at the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077. While we don’t know if the video will be taken down soon, it provides a sneak peek at how the game runs on Nintendo’s new portable console.
As reported by VGC, the video is a mix of B-roll clips provided by the Polish developer CD Projekt. These clips are usually meant for use by media outlets, influencers, and other creators to make their own content, but they’re not typically shown on their own.
A Big Preview Ahead of Next Month’s Release
The clips show different parts of the game, including car rides through the streets of Night City, combat scenes, and cinematic sequences. VGC claims that the footage could be from a newer, more optimized build of Cyberpunk 2077 compared to what was shown behind closed doors during events after the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement. The performance in the video seems to be stable, without any major issues.
However, for a final opinion on how the game runs on the new console, we’ll have to wait a few more weeks. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on June 5, the same day the console will hit store shelves. Earlier, CD Projekt RED confirmed that the game will use DLSS and revealed details about the graphic modes available in both portable and docked modes.
