NZXT H3 Flow Case Review
Complete System

There’s a lot to be said for micro-ATX cases, such as “why aren’t there more of them?”, but NZXT has knocked it out of the park here. While this is an underserved part of the market, the form factor has its benefits. mATX may be smaller than ATX, but they often have features on par with their larger brothers, such as additional PCIe slots, four RAM slots (mini-ITX often just have two), and of course, allow for a more compact case, without compromising on supported hardware.

The build is easy enough, as I said, there’s good cable routing in all the right place, and with the PSU shroud, space behind the motherboard, and all those routing holes and cable tie down points, it should be easy for a first time builder to get a finished product that looks as good as any seasoned professional.

GPU support is superb, and while my test leaves lots of space here, something like an RTX 5090 can be accommodated if you have the budget for it. Personally, I think the case is better suited for something mid-range, such as the RTX 5060-5070 or the AMD/Intel equivalent. These cards don’t run as hot, are smaller, and would allow you to use the fan mounts on the PSU shroud for additional cooling.

If you’re running more extreme hardware on a bigger budget, and you have the room for it, then a larger case such as the H5 Flow would likely be your better option, but if space is a factor, then the H3 Flow is a great choice.

Not only does this case look fantastic, but it’s going to easily snug under a small desk, on your desktop, or into small work-from-home spaces like an under-stairs office or spare bedroom setup.
