Stellar Blade Demo Now Available Worldwide on Steam Without Region Locks
If you remember, Stellar Blade is a game that doesn’t need a PSN account to work on Steam. However, it was blocked in many regions where PlayStation Network (PSN) is not supported.
This was a strange situation, but the development team promised to fix it. And now, it looks like they have succeeded.
Stellar Blade Demo Now Available Almost Worldwide
The official Twitter account shared that the Stellar Blade demo is the same one found on PS5. It includes the first area with the first boss fight and an extra mode where you can fight a mid-game boss with different outfits available.
The most important news is that the demo is free and downloadable in about 250 countries around the world. This confirms that Stellar Blade is no longer blocked in places where PSN is unavailable.
By checking SteamDB, we see that a few countries still block the game. This is due to national censorship rules, not because of the developers.
In Belarus, Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Syria, and Vietnam, players cannot buy Stellar Blade. Before this change, the block included 130 countries.
