NVIDIA CEO Praises Nintendo Switch 2’s Graphics: “The Most Advanced Graphics Ever in a Mobile Device”
Nintendo has released a new episode of its “Creator’s Voice” series, where top developers and industry professionals discuss the Nintendo Switch 2, revealing details about the new console and its upcoming games.
In today’s episode, the spotlight is on Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA. In the video, he talks about the custom SoC (System on a Chip) designed by NVIDIA, which is at the heart of the new console. He describes it as a “technical marvel” that combines “performance, intelligence, and beauty,” resulting in the “most advanced graphics ever for a mobile device.”
Jensen Huang Praises the Nintendo Switch 2
“The mission was to build a new console that takes the original vision further. To make is so, we had to reinvent everything. The chip inside Nintendo Switch 2 is unlike anything we’ve built before,” Jensen said in the video.
He continued, “The most advanced graphics ever in a mobile device. Full hardware ray tracing, high dynamic range for brighter highlights and deeper shadows, and an architecture that supports backward compatibility. There are also dedicated AI processors to sharpen, animate, and enhance gameplay in real-time, and it’s ultra-low power. We optimized the semiconductor process technology for high performance in a handheld device so it can go wherever you go.”

Nintendo Switch 2 will be available in stores starting June 5.
