GeForce Now Native App Now Available for Steam Deck
As of today, Steam Deck owners can install the native GeForce Now app to enjoy NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service in the best way possible.
The service allows players to access over 2,200 games from platforms like Valve’s store, Epic Games Store, PC Game Pass, and others. It delivers performance up to 4K and 60 fps, with HDR and support for DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex technologies. All of this is possible due to cloud rendering, not relying on the device’s hardware.
Better Performance and Longer Battery Life
With GeForce Now, players can bypass the hardware limits of the Steam Deck and enjoy better performance. At the same time, it reduces the device’s workload, leading to up to a 50% improvement in battery life.
If you’re interested, you can download the app from the official GeForce Now website at this link. GeForce Now offers different subscription options to fit each player’s needs. The free plan gives access to the service but with some limitations, such as shorter gaming sessions and no RTX support.
For those seeking better performance, the Priority plan is available at $9.99 per month. This plan offers priority server access, longer gaming sessions, and smoother gameplay.
For players who want the best performance, the Ultimate plan provides 4K gaming at 120 FPS, powered by a cloud-based RTX 4080, which helps reduce latency. The Ultimate plan is available for $19.99 per month.
Additionally, there’s a Summer Sale for GeForce NOW, with the Performance plan available at a 40% discount until July 6.
